Ok here is my problem we are currently moving off of
Novell and going all win2k. Well when we remove the
novell logon software and just have the Windows logon
screen, the users can long on and all that stuff.. but
when thier password expires. they get an error that it
can't find a domain and won't let them change thier
password. now if its a 98 machine on the same network as
the domain controllers it will allow it but if its on a
differn't network it won't. i can see the domain and log
in and gain network resoruces but when it comes time to
changing password no domains are availabe.. has anyone
come across this... its driving me nuts.. im at a loss...
thanks for any help

Chris

How is your DNS set up? Do you have a DNS server for the AD domain? Do your
clients point to that DNS server only?
