My two machine network (XP to 98) worked fine until
last week.
Now everthing looks and works good from the 98 side but,
My Network Places on the XP machine sees nothing.

I can ping my static IP's in both directions.
I am using a crossover cable, no hub.

Are you sure they're in the same workgroup? In XP you need to click "View workgroup computers" on
the left, then possibly click "Microsoft Windows Network" too.
