Ok, my own fault. My sound card was failing, and was no longer able to
reject video card EMI noise, so I was getting the lovely sound effects you
hear when trying to move your mouse and browse the web (I'm sure MANY know
what sounds I'm talking about). So, I bought a new sound card-- the
installation went fine and solved the problem. Only now, I notice that no
sound is coming from my ATI TV VE (yes, the connections to the sound card in
the back are correct). I decide to install the latest greatest ATI MMC 9.0
and latest ATI TV VE video capture card drivers, figuring it would cause the
TV card to "recognize" the sound card, plus bring my ATI software up to
date. Silly me.
Now, when I run the TV app, nothing happens.
Is anyone running this with success? Does anyone know what versions of ATI
software I can run in order to have the 9700 Pro and the TV VE live on the
same computer? (I would hate to back all the way up to MMC 7.6 -- it was
officially unsupported by ATI, and never really completely worked).
Thanks in advance...
