Just installed a new ATI 9600 pro 128 and I'm using it with FS2002. I'm
experimenting with settings now to get things right. I notice that the
airports "shimmer" at medium distances and get clearer as you close the
range. I don't believe this was a problem with the Nvidia GeForce4 Ti4200 64
I just replaced. Is there an optimum setting, or some setting I should
"adjust" in either the sim or the display settings to ease this "shimmering"
situation? I have the latest ATI driver and control panel off the site.
6.14.10 6378. I understand there's a new driver coming that addresses some
issues in FS2004. Is my "shimmering" perhaps one of these issues?
