What are the average. OC numbers for a 9500 pro? What are the speeds of a
9800 and can I reach them with a oc 9500 pro?

I reached 325 /310 on my 9500 Pro stock HS and no heatsinks on memory runs
like a charm

351/315 and I have a 4" 3200 rpm fan resting on top of the card

thats a pretty dangerous attitude to take.
if you want specs, try this page

also, with overclocking, since no two pieces of hardware will oc the same,
Id recommend a series of small increases

When I said I would try it I meant to oc not to go that high at one time.
Sorry for the confusion. I went to 305/282 and it works fine so far but I
will drop it back when not playing a game. Thanks for the site... I will
look at it.

Mine goes to about 325/295. If I push it higher I sometimes get
critical device failures in windows.
