Hello,

I have several users who are saying that after July patch 936507 was
installed they could nolonger open excel spreadsheets generated by our
program. Without the patch, the spreadsheet opens and everything is fine,
with the patch everyone gets:
Repairs to 'test.xls'

Erros were detected in 'test.xls,' but Microsoft Office Excel was able to
open the file by making the repairs listed below. Save the file to make
these repairs permanent.

Damage to the file was so extensive that repairs were not possible. Excel
attempted to recover your formulas and values, but some data may have been
lost or corrupted.

So what can I do to troubleshoot this problem?

Thanks,
