Hello all---I've read many posts here & on ATI's Xtasy (Visiontek.com)
support forum on installing the 9200 SE PCI Xtasy card on a P4 w/XP(SP1, if
it matters). PCI, if you're wondering why, is I regrettably purchased a Dell
in January w/no AGP bus slot(s), so I had to go w/ PCI. Anyway, so --I've
tried disabling/uninstalling old video card(64 meg. integrated Intel Extreme
graphics) and installing ATI's card, while downloading & installing new
drivers on ATI's site for XP, rebooting after each task mentioned above, as
well as disabling my IE firewall & antivirus, & I still get the "warning"
error, saying--"warning--The ATI control panel failed to initialize because
no ATI driver is installed, or ATI driver is not working properly. The ATI
control panel will now exit." Any info? Thanks in advance--JB
