Hi there

I have bought some 90 min. CD-R's.

My CD-Writer (Lite-On LTR48246S) should support these
CD's however, Windows XP only allow 87,8 MB of data on
the CD?

Does anyone know why?

Thanks in advance

Thomas

XP software may not support the 90mins media but both Nero and Roxio EZ CD 6
should.

As Yves says, XP does not support these high capacity discs with it's built
in burning features (which suck anyway) and even in Nero and Roxio, you must
enable the "overburn" option.

Note: Using "overburn", even if your drive claims to support it, "could"
possibly cause physical damage to your drive. Also, the discs may not be
readable in other computers.
