Hi,
I posted this about 9 months and have never resolved my problem. I maintain
a web page using FrontPage 2000 on my Windows Vista Home Premium computer.
When I go to publish my changes I get the following error:
12110 ERROR_FTP_TRANSFER_IN_PROGRESS
The requested operation cannot be made on the FTP session
handle because an operation is already in progress.
If I close the error message and click on Publish again and repeat the
process over and over the update will finally work.
Last time I was referred to various pages at Microsoft and jumped from page
to page from there. The information I found was just the listing the error
message. Nowhere did I find a solution to my problem.
Can someone tell me how to resolve this problem?
If there is a session in progress, how do I end it?????????
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Maintain a local copy of the web page and use a different application
for the FTP transfers. I use WS_FTP. Publish is not used at all.

did you try fpcleaner?
http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm

you might try asking Steve Eason from his site above also if that fails

to end a session I think you can do that alt control delete processors or
