Are you always this helpful? How about giving something constructive! You
obviously know you have me over a barrel and wish to keep me there. There is
a reason the solution is always in the last place you look. Up to this point
I have tried everything I know and I could find, but none have been
succesful.

If you can offer a solution I would be highly greatful! I have Oultook 2003
SP3. I read these were fixed, but it is not so on my system.

Thanks

Sean

You obviously didn't look around this newsgroup before you posted. I spent
quite a lot of my own spare time to this newsgroup to help people like you
without being paid for it.

> How about giving something constructive!

How about you starting with providing some proper information to work with?
You don't provide anything except for an error code and the claim that you
have tried everything already. There is no crystal ball support in this
newsgroup nor can we look over your shoulder to see your configuration and
to see what you have done so far. If you don't tell us, we don't know. From
this point we can only guess what your configuration would be and have a
very high risk of telling you something you've already tried; "everything"
after all is quite a lot.

Robert,

A bit condescending there, with a touch of holier than thou... respect to your help and support, granted... but the rest is not needed.

Sean has tried 'everything' he is aware of... and simply put, the error he describes just occurs. There is no other information. So what more information do you want?

1/. the set up was working yesterday, today it is not
2/. the settings are per the yahoo mail settings page
3/. they did not change on the pc but the error came

So, more constructive help is required... and for your information I am also a techy guy that has and does give support successfully to many people in various places.
