8gb worth of files i know i dont have

I have a 20gig hard drive and windows says im using 8gb
worth of space and I know im not is there hidden files
that i can delete.

Hidden files are hidden for a reason, sys files etc
Delete them and yr sys wont start.
Use 'Disk Cleanup'
