826942 breaks WEP!

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is another hotfix that
supercedes this one. 826942 breaks WEP on many Intel and
Atheros based wireless cards. Intel have produced a new
driver, but many other companies have not.
The only solution is to turn off WEP!!!
I hope that SP2 does not include this hotfix - otherwise
it will break loads of wireless networks and the only
solution is to turn off WEP on the whole network OR remove
SP2!
Does anyone know if this issue is being worked on by MS?
