8100 doesnt retain settings on w2k print server

Hello folks
I have an 8100dn networked on a w2k server sp4 fully patched
It has a mailbox and additional trays (4 and 5) installed as optional
extras. Im using pcl6 driver. The problem is these settings are not retained
for more than about 10 minutes. When I go back to view the settings they
have vanished and I have to keep re-adding them back in.

Any ideas?
