80211.b vs 802.11g speed question

's Computer Specifications

I am running Win 98SE and am curious as to wheter
802.11g on USB 2.0 should be faster than it is on USB 1.1.

Tests I have run here show its really no faster

Downloading 100 meg file from Download.com

Win 98 802.11b DL was 70 kb/sec Done while using USB 1.1

802.11g DL was 70 kb/sec Done while using USB 1.1

802.11g DL was 75 kb/sec Done while using USB 2.0

DSLREPORTS.COM Speed test 3 runs averaged

Win 98 802.11b Down 583 Avg Up 189 Avg Done while using USB 1.1

802.11g Down 608 Avg Up 195 Avg Done while using USB 1.1

802.11g Down 681 Avg Up 212 Avg Done while using USB 2.0
