Hi,

I intend to set up an 802.11G ad-hoc wireless network at home between my
desktop (WinXP) and my laptop (Win2000). However, I note that the DLink
website claims that the 802.11G spec doesn't require 802.11G adapters to run
any faster than 11Mbit/s in ad-hoc mode. This is annoying.

Can anyone confirm this? Have you successfully got more than 11Mbit/s out
of a 802.11G ad-hoc network? If so, what adapters were you using?

Many thanks,
Jack
