An Access Point would work if configured in "wireless client" mode BUT I
assume you have no network interface card in the computer to plug the
wireless access point (wireless client) via cat5e in to. The F5D6130 may not
actually support client mode as Belkin sell a Wireless Ethernet Adapter

which appears to perform this function.
If so, you will need to take the Access Point back and buy

or
