80% of color gone from wallpaper videos

Suddenly I realized that 80% of the color in my DreamScene video was gone
from my Vista Ultimate 64bit.

The videos are still color, but barely so. This only applies to video, not
only DreamScene but the other videos as well.

I also tried the opening video from Train Simulator; even that had lost its
color.

So the common denominator is that it only happens with video; any video.
The color of stills is fine.

I don't remember what I did at the time it started. I've tried a bunch of
stuff to jiggle it back, but nothing works: reboot, change resolution, etc.
There's no point in reinstalling DreamScene since it happens with all
videos.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. Beta or not, it worked fine for the prior
four weeks.

You haven't stated which card you're using, or if you're using CCC, but if
you *are* using CCC, have you checked the video setting adjustments?

The card is an Evga 8800 GTS SLI 320MB. Vista # is 5.1 (HD, rest of #s are
5.9).

There is a Preview download. But there is also a later download (Aug22)
which is not Beta.
