8.5.1302.1018 Windows Live Messenger

I installed Build 8.5.1302.1018 of WLM and now I am unable to receive sound
in video conversation. I see nothing on the topic anywhere. I have also
installed the same on the laptop with the same result. Does anyone have
anything to offer?
