720 KB disk format

I just read an article by Microsoft stating that XP will
not format a 720 KB disk. Actually I think that is an
error. I can format a 720KB disk using the command
prompt and the FS switch and setting the file type to
fat. It seems to work just fine. Now whether or not it
will work with a 1.44 disk is questionable.
