Hello,

Sometimes it is necessary for me to open more than one file, so i try to
highlight them and open them at the same time. I expect to see two word
documents open, but instead two "7 Zip File Manager" windows appear! This is
not limited to just word documents. How do i stop this from happening?

Thanks so much!!!
Nicole

Hi Nicole,

The 7-Zip context menu may be somehow interfering with the "open" action. Try disabling the "Integrate 7-Zip to shell context menu" option in the options.

Look at the screenshot #4 here:

Try disabling the "Integrate 7-Zip to shell context menu" option in the "7-Zip Options" dialog.

You're welcome! The problem may come back if you enable that option again. If you need to shell integration functionality offerred by that utility, you may contact their support/dev team and inform them about this glitch.
