Hi,

I have been playing about with Vista Home for the first time this weekend.
I have got the 64bit version with 2G of Ram and over 100Gig of hard drive
free.
With nothing running at all apart from the OS, the CPU usage is at 60%+
If I try running any programes like fireworks or iTunes i may as well be
back using Windows 3.1 it's just that slow.

Can anyone help me try and find out what might be making it run so slow?

I may be on the wrong line, but those 9600SE cards were in the main
faulty - something like 65% failure rate because they were purchased
untested from Sapphire (who simply added 10% to the delivery quantity
to allow for any failures)
Sapphire didn't quality check them, nor did Granville
Try another graphics card and see if that cures anything
