Any help with this would be most appreciated. Everytime I try to click on a
webpage email link, I get a "default mail client is not installed properly"
error followed by the computer freaking out and stacking up 60 blank webpages.

Definitely sounds like spyware.
I would download and run:
Spybot Search and Destroy
Ad-Aware SE
Update your Antivirus and scan

ASAP

Thanks for your post Richard. I downloaded Spybot and I already had ad aware
and Microsoft Defender. None of the programs found anything. I have read on
similar posts that this is a registry error (Mailto but those suggestions
did not fix it either.
