Hi,

Does anyone know where i can purchase a 6 pin to 6 pin pci-e modular cable from?

I got a modular power supply but it didn't come with the 6 pin cables, when i asked them about it, i was told it came with 6 pin support and not the cables. Any ideas?

Have looked all over the net but can't find anywhere that sells additional cables.

Cheers guys.

Had a look on the Maplins site and can't find any, if you could provide a link that would be great.

What make is the modular power supply?

The cable may be peculiar to the manufacturer and not a commonly available lead.

However, it is worth checking the cables section of all the most popular computer parts suppliers: OCUK; E-Buyer; Komplett; Scan; Kustom PC's etc.

Also worth taking a look at RS Electronic Components and Farnell/CPC and maybe Cricklewood Electronics.

Its an OCZ, i phoned their support and they said they can't sell individual cables, however it is a common six pin plug used by various other manufacterers,

Will try some of the sites you suggested,

Thanks again flopps.

Well, i'm gonna cry,

have managed to find one at Frozencpu.com, yep after 5 or 6 hours now trying to find one the only places who have them is the good old USA.

Is gonna cost £23 though.

Well i might just ebay my PSU as i can't return it anymore and buy another one, making sure to read the spec very very very very very carefully.

Will hang on until the weekend just incase someone has a spare or finds one in the UK.
