I'm running wqindow xp home edition,i had a new hard driver installed about a
month ago. my problem I wanted to use my 6 in 1 reader and writer to transfer
images from my camera memory card, the light flashes on the the reader as if
to transfer the images but nothing get transfered.the images are on the the
card. What is my problem or what do I need to look at? Help.

You need to give a few more details, such as... did you
select the files to transfer and pick a destination drive?
Did you partition and format the new drive? Does the new
drive show in My Computer?

Are you using Windows Explorer to transfer the files or some
third party program?

sorry about the time delay. Yes to the first question, I'm have comcast photo
to transfer with. When I plug the the reader into the USB port, comcast photo
takes over I click to transfer the images,the reader flashes as to make the
transfer. Drive, I choose to only have one partition with this new drive, Yes
to formate,the drive does show on the computer.The comcast Photo program is
the boss.

Comcast sounds like an ISP and you're sending your photo to
an on-line storage or webpage. Try selecting Windows
Explorer to send the file to your local hard drive.
