56k modem upload problem

I seem to be having a problem with my modem. It shows
that it is uploading heavily without me uploading
anything. It is really slowing down my downloading and
becoming quite annoying as I do not know what is being
uploaded.

I have PC-Cillin firewall running so it seems as though I
haven't been hacked into and someone is downloading off
me.

Please help.
