Ok, I keep getting the 553 error. I tried to set it to use the secure
password authorization, but my isp doesn't use that so it won't work. The
only thing it says when I do the test account settings is to check the email
address. Is there anything else that could be wrong.

Outlook version? Exact error? Generally, that error means that you are trying to relay.

Use your favorite search engine to look up "relaying"

Knowing your ISP, and the exact error message, is very important. Here is an
example of a "553" error which is not a relay problem:

| T 20080401 210507 fff56f91 Begin processing job MO00005B from %User_ID%@aosake.net
| E 20080401 210508 fff56f91 553 From: address not verified; see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/origin

My ISP is "at&t Yahoo! HSI", and we are given 'smtp.att.yahoo.com:465' to
use, with SSL. Yahoo! changed the rules on how to use their servers, and I
am no longer able to send email from '@aosake.net' email addresses unless I
go through some verification hoops at the Yahoo! site. Only the
'@pacbell.net' email address for the account logged in as
%User_ID%@pacbell.net' will work. I can verify a maximum of ten email
addresses in other domains than 'pacbell.net'.

Your error message won't look exactly like that (it is an extract from an
MTA log file), but you need to post the entire, verbose error because the
textual part of the error message will contain an important clue to the
solution of the problem.
