550 5.7.1 email error

Occasionally when I send email I get the following from System Administrator:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: RE: subject
Sent: 7/24/2008 9:41 AM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'recipient name' on 7/24/2008 9:41 AM
550 5.7.1 m6OGehLw031969 This message does not comply with
required standards.

I have received this when replying to mails from a certain vendor, and also
when trying to send some online article links to various people in my
contacts. I did a few searches but most error text is different from mine.
What is the cause of this error?
