Following a recent memory upgrade to my PC, I have 2 x 512 memory to donate to a good home. They may be of no use/interest to anyone, but I thought it was worth a shot on here before I dumped them.

Any interest, please PM your details to me.

Lots of love

Gabriella xx

Are they DDR1, DDR2 or DDR3? They are unlikely to be DDR3.

If they are DDR1, often referred to as plain old DDR, then I could use them.

If they are DDR they may also have a 'PC3200' label on them.

Dear Tony

I haven't a clue - they have come from an Acer PC - I have upgraded to 4gb memory - DDR2. So do you think the 'old' ones are DDR2? You are more than welcome to them - perfect condition. Let me know xx

The old ones will be DDR2.

I use DDR2 memory in three of my 4 computers. Main one has 4Gb the other two have 2Gb each.

So, unfortunately, no use to me but thanks for offering them here

Very good of you to offer these Gabs, would be a good upgrade to any PC with under 2GB of RAM .

Actually, I can use those Gabs, I'll take them if I may.

Was rumnmaging through my parts/junk boxes today and came across an Asus M2V motherboard with an AMD 64 CPU and 2 1Gb sticks of Corsair DDR2 memory.

I'm not sure if the board is a worker or not, I need a PCI-e graphics card to test it. But the memory is ok and so I've just added it to my media machine running Vista so now I have 4Gb of memory in there.

But to test the Asus M2V motherboard I could use the memory you're offering.

If you still have my address, fine, but if you don't, let me know and I'll PM it to you.

Thank you
