503 Valid RCPT command must precede DATA

Good day,

I am getting the "503 Valid RCPT command must precede DATA" error but only when replying to or forwarding an email. If I send a new email to the same address, no problem. I have tried POP before SMTP and SMTP authentication is set correctly.

What I have found so far is that people getting this error don't seem to be able to send email at all where as my problem only occurs on a Reply or Forward.

Any suggestions?
