HI,
I got a problem with my computer.

Don't know what happen, but suddenly I can't read one of
my partition . a 100G partition became some strange
character. It should have 50G free space, but it shows
137M free space only.

I use a diagonos disk (from Western Digital) to check hard
driver first, it reports no error

Then I scheduled a error check. When it restarts, computer
begin to check file consistency (FAT32 & XP). The D driver
seems completely ruined. Check consistency process begin
to correct link to each of the cluster , from cluster 0 to
cluster.......
6 hour pass and it finished correction link for 500,000
cluster, and still go on. I guess 100G space will have 5M
cluster or so, which means that I have let machine run 500
hours or more to finish checking!!!!!

I try to reset and skip consistency checking, but the I
can't read D: driver at all

what else tools can I try to jump out of this?

programs that might be shareware/freeware.
