I am just fitting some 5.1 speakers and using the C-Media on the board.
When I select the 5.1 option in the settings I lose the line in which I
use for the TV card (Hauppauge). I cannot find any option to accommodate
this.

The only work around I can see is to hard wire it into the aux audio CD
player socket, but don't know if this is will ok correctly.
Any advice please.

A second point is that the output from the CD is routed via the Wave
volume control(C-Media Mixer) rather than the CD one. From what I have
managed to find this happens when the output is sent digitally, so I
have set it to analogue on the CD player options, but it still gets sent
to the wave vol control. Is there a workaround for this please?

I am running Win 2k sp4. I have upgraded from Win Media player 7 to 9
and directX 9 is installed.
