5.1 signs off on its own

Our company uses windows messenger 5.1- everyone has it on their desktop. One
of our 75 or so has a problem where to everyone, including herself, she
appears online. However, at times you go to send her a message and it will
not deliver. She will go to send a message and discovers she has to log off
and log back on to actually be online. All indications the entire time are
that she is online. Any ideas?
