I recently enabled this feature on two servers, one with
2gb & one with 4gb of RAM. It worked great and solved the
problem I had with a limit on the number of Oracle
sessions that could be created.

Question: Is there any reason this shouldn't be enabled
on any server?

its only supported by certain versions of NT and 2000

If you have less than 3GB in the system, it will allocate all the memory to
your application pool, an leave non for the OS to use...
