Look up the MB on the internet and see if you can still find a manual. Older
boards often had to be hard-set for various jumper configurations such as
CPU speed, voltage, etc. (It's probably pointless if you don't know these
settings)
I have an old 486 CPU in my junk parts box. You're welcome to it - but
before you go blowing up both the MB and the CPU, take a few minutes to
figure out whether or not it's even going to work for you.
