When installing TrueCrypt 6.1a on my W2KSP4 PC I got the following warning
message:

"48-bit LBA ATAPI support is disabled on your system. Therefore, you should
not write to IDE disks larger than 128 GB. If you do, data on the disk (no
matter if it is a Truecrypt volume or not) may get corrupted. This is a
Windows limitation."

Now, my PC contains 2 internal HD's of 60 GB, but I have also been using an
external (USB) HD which is 500 GB and have not yet noticed corrupted data.
Do I have to recopy or reformat this disk? (all drives are NTFS formatted).

AFAIR, the 48-bit restriction applies to internal disks only. External disks
are handled by the USB driver, not by the ATAPI driver.
