I have outlook 2003 on a couple of machines at home that are running Windows
XP Professional SP2. I believe all are current on their updates. Lately on
1 of my machines I'm getting the following error when I reply to some (not
all, but enough to make it annoying) emails.

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

(E-Mail Removed)' on 2/24/2007 8:51 PM

421 Unexpected failure, please try later

It happens almost immediately which makes me think it's not a message from
the server but most likely comming from Outlook trying to communicate with
the server/host. I am using the same smtp and pop addresses on both
computers.

Anybody have any Ideas?

Thanks!

Have you tried googling the error code?

Yup, both in web search and groups. Other instances of the problem but no
answers.
