My wife sent an email to her highschool alumni list and it has appeared to
clog her email. The email had a bunch of addresses in it. The email no longer
shows in her Outlook outbox because I deleted it, but Outlook tries to
"send/receive" every few seconds and gives the following error message:

Task 'Mail Server - Sending' reported error (0x8004210B) : 'The operation
timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If you
continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: 421 Too many bad
commands, closing transmission channel'

Searching the web for a fix, I found this:
http://www.smartertools.com/forums/post/20399.aspx however, I do not have
access to the server to increase the recepient limit.

I need to UNSTICK Outlook somehow. This is causing a large problem for my
wife. I can't see any way to delete the bad email message nor any other way
to correct the problem.

Please Help!

I don't know if this solves the problem or not. Before I tried it, my ISP
finally got to my trouble ticket and doubled my receipients allowed per email
message and the "phantom" email went out which solved the problem.

Thanks for the response, though.
