What is a 400 error? Why would I suddenly start getting it?

I have been moved from XL 2003 to 2007. I had macros on toolbars that
are now not available that way. I found Ron DeBruin's QAT Menu add-in
and love it!

Suddenly, though, macros that previously worked from the add-in now
throw the "400" critical error. I can still use the ALT+F8 menu and
run them.

What does this error mean? Where can I start to look for what is
causing this error?
