I just installed a 40 gig HD. Restore disk put 98 on ...
Used my upgrade xp disk and choose upgrade. After
installation the HD showed it was less than 8 gigs. How
did it get partitioned? I than removed XP and now back
to the 98. Should I choose to do a "new" installatio...
and than choose NTFS...if so I do I ever get to use the
restore disk (if needed).
Thanks,
Marcia

Upgrade the computer's CMOS/BIOS. Older CMOS/BIOSes had a 8GB limit in
them.
