Depends on how you intend to print the results.
Tools Labels, pick a 3x5 size and create a single sheet of blank
labels--that will create a table where each cell represents an index card.
Avery or another paper products company may have pre-scored index card
templates that you could print onto.
Do you really need actual physical index cards, though? Especially since
it sounds like you'll need to cross-reference information. You might see
if something like this suits you better, or search for "index card
software":
