I have installed a windows 2000 server in a raid 5
configuration (not running active directory, not in a
domain, just using workgroup for networking) and want to
install a second server as a backup server that will
mirror the main server for redundacy.

I want to be able to switch over to the backup server
realtime or as close to real time as possible just in case
the main server goes down. I have never attemped this and
would appreciate assistance. I do not want to use active
directory as I am not yet familiar enough with it to
deploy it company wide, but need to set up a backup server.

Both servers are identical hardware wise. Can anyone
recommend a good third party solution that would
accomplish this task, or any other sugestions?

Thanks,

Paul Spencer
