Hi,

I'm in the process of developing a document management system for our
company and want to aske something about it.

I'm planing to store and retrieve the scanned docuemnts (in .bmp
format) as binary in SQL-Server (from MS KB article: How To Read and
Write BLOB Data by Using ADO.NET with Visual Basic .NET).
What I want know is do those 3rd party components for such tasks
provide better handling than .NET way? If so, what are they?

MTIA,
Grawsha

Just a comment but won't .bmp format require an awful lot of unnessary
space...why not .JPG
