Hello,

I bought a laptop in UK and currently bought a mobile 3g in India. However, it seems that mobile 3g data card (USB) does not work on the UK laptop for some reason. All the more surprising that it works on my Indian laptop but not my UK laptop. Anything that I need to do for it to start working on UK laptop?

Help needed!

Layman..

At a guess the UK probably uses a different carrier signal compared too India

You need to investigate this and ideally should have before purchasing

Compatibility can be a big issues when determining frequencies for different countries
It is a shot in the dark but you need to look into this. I'm no expert on GPRS or 3/3.5/4G

Good luck
