Are you getting a black screen when you start the game?
If so.. Try updating your Video drivers using the instructions at:

In addition to what Jimmy suggested, try right-clicking the link you're
using to launch Pinball, select Properties and then see if the Path is
listed as "C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Pinball\PINBALL.EXE" (including the
quotes). If it isn't, correct it.

Hello "Chris H.": My comment & ? is regarding 3D Pinball in Windows XP-Home. I just started this today and found your name when you answered someone in April. You asked to check the path and make sure everything is in the target including quotations. My problem is, 3D Pinball just starts and then goes away to what was on the desktop last. My target is as you typed out. I searched for this in my search area and found all type of Pinball info, from help, short cut to file folder and application. Anyway all the other games, Solitares etc. are fine. Any other info you can provide. Thanks Much. Gilbert

Try going to Start/All Programs/Games/Pinball and right-click the entry,
then select Properties. Make sure the listing is to "Run: Normal window."
If it isn't, there's a drop-down menu to make that selection.

Hello Again "Chris H.": Followed your instructions and the "Run: Normal window." is what is in the line across from Run. I know Pinball is in the computer somewhere but since everything is in place I don't know what else to do. When I've downloaded things the file may have go moved under another file name. Thanks for your prompt response I appreciate it. Looks like Pinball is lost in the maze. Regards, Gilbert

"C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Pinball\PINBALL.EXE" is the exact location of
where the file should be. It is a "system" file and should not be moved.
If you're downloading "things" which are tampering with your system files,
you're on your own. 8-)

Try going into Windows Explorer and doing a Search for "Pinball" without the
quotes. Make sure you've gone into Folder Options in Control Panel and
enabled seeing system files, file extensions, etc., first. You should find
it properly there, and from that you could right-click, drag a new shortcut
to your desktop.

Hello "Chris H."=The only things I've downloaded are recipes, copies of on-line ordering and some Shockwave games + MSN Game Zone, plus Symantec ant-virus. Anyway, I don't think I've corrupted any system files but you never know. Again Thanks for trying to assist me. Gilbert
