I have a friend who cannot complete the installation of his 3connect
software. After the reboot the installshield software states a reboot is
pending and to reboot and restart the installer. This will not go away. I
have looked on the internet and tried the solution to remove the
filerenameoperations key from the registry but this does not solve the
problem. Obviously no connection to the internet until this is solved. He
has told me that when the connection gets tempermental he uninstalls and
reinstalls the software. I believe this is the root cause of the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
XP professional sp3 fully up to date.
