is ther any way to upgrade 32bit to 64 bit??? or o i have to wait for a new
windows???

No, even the new Windows (Windows 7) still requires a fresh install if
migrating from 32 bits to 64 bits.

Hi Alice,

There is no upgrade path from 32 to 64 bit installations, it requires a
clean installation. It does not matter whether you are going from Vista to
Vista, or XP to Vista, or Vista to Win7.

Why do you think you need to Alice? How old is the machine and the
printers etc that you have with it? It's not a bad idea but there can be
extra issues you need to know about first.

No, no upgrade is possible. The only way to get 64-bit Windows is to
install it cleanly.

Sorry, I don't understand that part of your sentence. Waiting for a
new version isn't an issue in this regard at all.

By the way, why do you want a 64-bit version?

well couple resons. my hp is 64bit compatible but they instaled 32bit. so
i can never use the full 8gigs of ram which i find dumb. below are my
computer specks. cople my games like Lord of the Rings Online & second life
work beter on 64bit

HP Pavilion m9080n:
2.4 core 2 quad
3gigs of ram, upgrable to 8gig
2 500gig internals & 1 750gig hp media drive.
7.1 onboard sound
lightskribe dvd buner & dvd rom
memory card reader
hp pockent meda bay
hd tv card
ATI Radeon HD 4850
MS Vista Ultimate 32bit sp1

What makes you think they work better on 64 bit?

Maybe more is cached with 8 GB Ram?
