32 bit color tray icons...

I tried using an app that hacks explorer.exe to enable 32 bit color for the
tray icons..
it seemed that it worked because it detected the explorer version (sp4) ...
but the colors still looked horrible afterwards....

anyone knows a solution to get full color in the tray?
