I have 3 stations that I have updated to XP Pro from 2000
Pro and have a database on one computer, station 2, and
station 1 can see station 2, but station 3 can see station
2 until we go into My Computer and select the mapped icon
that has a red cross, and then it see it.

Can any body have information where we can change a
setting or anything to enable us to see the mapped drive?

Thanks,
ARJack

Hi Jack,

Please check out the KB Article # 330519 "Red 'X' Appears on Home Folder
Mapped Drive in Windows Explorer"
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;330519

OR

By default, idle connections will be dropped after 15 minutes. To modify
idle time, at a command prompt using net config server /autodisconnect:
minutes. For example, to set the Autodisconnect value to 30 minutes, you
would run the following command line:
net config server /autodisconnect:30

If you would like to turn Autodisconnect off, run the follow command line:
net config server /autodisconnect:-1.

Hope this helps ......
