Aside from the obvious power typo, what is you are looking for Diane?

General info:
To display an exponent, use the up arrow ^ (Some programs will also accept a
double asterisk **)
(-2x^2 - 4x + 11)(5x - 12)

In case you were not trying to display a quadratic equation ... It is a very
good idea to nest parenthesis to avoid possible order of operations errors.
For instance: (2* (4-2)) is not the same as ((2*4)-2)
