It would be much cleaner to just reinstall XP.
To enter BIOS, right at Startup hit F1, F2, or Enter; boot Order should be F12
Check at bottom of startup Screen.
In your BIOS, or boot Order, set your CD/DVD Drive to be 1st in the Boot
Order, insert XP disk, reboot, follow instructions to load files, Delete BOTH
existing XP Partitons, select the size of your new partition, format, install
XP.
